002: Artisinal Leather Craft & Lakeside Stay

Same curiosity. One extra night. This is the overnight edition of our Appenzell expedition - everything from the leather craft workshop with an 8th generation master beltmaker, the cable car up to Ebenalp, lunch at the cliffside Berggasthaus Aescher, and the hike down to Seealpsee. But instead of heading back home, you stay. We spend the night at the Berggasthaus Forelle, right on the water's edge - pine wood beds, mountain air, regional specialities, and the lake entirely to yourself once the day hikers are gone. The kind of evening that's hard to explain to people who weren't there. Start the next day with a morning meditation and an ice-cold dip in the lake.
