003: The Alpine immersion

Switzerland has 208 mountain peaks above 3,000 metres. Most people photograph two of them. The Alpine Immersion takes you somewhere else, off the marked tourist trails and into the working landscape of Swiss alpine life. A local guide leads the way through high meadows, past seasonal cheese dairies and grazing herds, to viewpoints that don't have an Instagram geotag. No cable cars required. This is Switzerland as the people who live here know it. Slow, earned, and impossible to forget.
